Carolina Misztela is a visual artist and stylist living and working in Zurich. Her creative practice is based on the concept of style in relation to social and pop-cultural phenomena as well as its artistic value as a medium for performance. In between layers of make-up and clothes she digs for traces of fragmented identities shaped by the spiraling mirrors of nowadays visual online landscapes.

In 2021 she initiated and founded the interdisciplinary art collective DREIDE which operates at the intersection of diasporic educational work and
perfomance while contemplating Switzerlands current political landscape.
